Physical and chemical properties: transparent particles or crystals, deliberate odor, deliquescence in wet air, soluble in water, slightly soluble in alcohol. It is a salt substance in acid-base salts. Mp: 285-286℃, water solubility: 995 g/L (20℃).

Packaging: The inner packaging is polyethylene film and the outer packaging is polypropylene woven bag. Net weight 25KG.

Uses: Preservatives, mildew inhibitors.

Limit:

1. Sodium propionate liquid wet-acid preservative, its bacteriostasis is affected by environmental PH. The minimum inhibitory concentration was 0.01% at PH5.0 and 0.5% at PH6.5. In acidic medium, it can inhibit all kinds of fungi, aerobic Bacillus or Gram-negative bacilli. It has a special effect on preventing the production of aflatoxin, but almost no effect on yeast. In addition, it is also used as a food preservative.

2. To improve the alkali resistance of leather and the uniformity of tanning, it is necessary to use masking agent in leather making.

3. Sodium is also an acid food preservative. Its bacteriostasis is affected by environmental pH value. The minimum inhibitory concentration was 0.01% at pH 5.0 and 0.5% at pH 6.5. In acidic medium, it has strong inhibitory effect on all kinds of fungi, Gram-negative bacilli or Aerobic Bacillus. It has a special effect on preventing the production of aflatoxin, but almost no effect on yeast. In the food industry, it can be used for preservation of pastries, using 2.5g/kg (in propionic acid, the same below); in 3%-5% water solution soaking bayberry, the most ambassadorial dosage is 50g/kg. It can also be used as a fungicide for feed.

4. Food, feed and antiseptics. The general dosage is 0.1-0.3%.

5. Cosmetic preservatives. It has a wide range of antimicrobial activities against fungi, yeasts and other fungi. The antimicrobial effect is particularly obvious in acid hydrolysates. The amount of cosmetics added is usually less than 2%. Pesticides, fungicides. Transaminase was determined. In order to improve the alkali resistance and uniformity of tanning, it is necessary to use masking agent in leather making.
